In the heart of Sedgefield, an immaculate, self-contained, private garden cottage, Swallows Corner Self catering Accommodation, has become available for up to 2 people.
This comfortable cottage has its own entrance from Mossie Street to a secure garden with off-road parking. The main access to the house is into the lounge of the open-plan living area which has a seating area and 32" TV, a dining room and kitchen. Wi-Fi is available. There is solar power for the lights, TV and to recharge cell phones.
A central sliding door from the lounge opens onto a shady outdoor braai area that has garden furniture and a Weber Braai.
The fully outfitted kitchen provides an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, kettle and toaster. There is adequate crockery, cutlery, utensils, pots and pans for a couple.
Rates: 1 Dec 2024 to 30 January 2025 -R1300 per night. Minimum stay, 10 nights.
50% deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance is payable by day of arrival.
Pets may be allowed by prior arrangement.
Linen is provided and cleaning is done weekly. N.B. Please bring your own beach towels.
No late arrivals can be received after 6pm.
Long Term bookings can be negotiated.

The cottage is an easy 5-minute walk to shops and restaurants. The Swartvlei Lagoon is little more than a stone’s throw away, ideal for early morning walks or runs, birdwatching, canoeing or standup paddling.
A local bicycle shop has a friendly cycling group and can also suggest any number of cycling routes for newcomers.
Sedgefield is also known to be one of the best places on the Garden Route for paragliding and tandem rides are offered by several companies if you’d like to have this experience.
Long-time residents of Sedgefield, the Lloyds, who live near the top of Swallow Street have spent over a month creating a magical place with Christmas lights in their garden. For the whole of December, they invite everyone of all ages to come and visit and enjoy a walk around in the wonderland they have created. The balmy cool of the December evenings is an ideal time to wind down from the day's activities and take an easy relaxing walk from Swallows Corner to view the delightful Christmas lights.
